No content showing or promoting sexual organs, sexual acts, sexual assault, abuse, or taking advantage of others for sexual purposes — especially involving minors (CSAM).

No sexually explicit or sexualized text, animations, tattoos, or ads for sex-related products.

No promotion of harmful or unsafe sexual behaviors (such as one-night stands, abusive practices, or non-consensual acts, or bestiality).

No illegal distribution of sexual content (such as content created through hidden cameras or deepfakes), and no degrading or objectifying of others, or entertainment-based invasion of privacy or sexualized behavior.

No display of extremely revealing or publicly inappropriate clothing, or promotion of sexual aids and related content.

No obscene or vulgar content, including profanity, crude language, explicit text, or adult/sexual keywords.

Minor Safety

Minors are strictly prohibited from registering, using, or actively appearing on the platform.

No form of child abuse, inappropriate interactions with children, enticement, or trafficking is allowed.

Any content involving the sexualization, exploitation, or transaction of minors is considered a serious violation.

Any CSAM-related content will be removed immediately and will result in immediate account penalties, and we reserve the right to report it to relevant authorities (e.g., NCMEC) as appropriate.

Self Harm & Dangerous Acts
Self-harm & Dangerous Acts

No engagement in or promotion of self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous acts of any kind.

No encouragement, glorification, or incitement of such behaviors.

No high-risk performances or challenges that may result in serious injury or death.

If life-threatening or severely unsafe situations occur, the platform will immediately remove the content and may report to relevant authorities.

Hate Speech, Violence & Public Security Incidents
No hate or discriminatory speech based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality/ethnic group, or other characteristics protected under applicable laws.

No bullying, harassment, insults, or malicious attacks against others.

No violent, graphic, terrorist, or extremist content.

No incitement of war, activities undermining national security, or content that distorts history or disparages national heroes.

No dissemination of misleading religious content, cults, extremist religious content, or harmful superstitions, and no insulting, distorting, or trivializing of religious content.

No animal abuse, sexual content involving animals, illegal trading, or graphic/disturbing depictions of animal harm.

No use or dissemination of major social, cultural, or political sensitive events for profit, denial of facts, or harm to victims.

Illegal & Regulated Activities
No gambling, betting, or related promotion.

No fraud, scams, pyramid schemes, fake recruitment, or investment scams.

No drug use, trafficking, or the display, promotion, or sale of drugs and other controlled substances, including instructions for manufacturing, cultivating, or processing drugs.

No dissemination or promotion of dark web content, including access methods or illegal transactions such as drugs, weapons, or human trafficking via the dark web.

No AI-generated harmful or illegal content; all AI media must be clearly labeled.

No money laundering or illegal fundraising, or promotion of deceptive or harmful promotion of financial, investment, or wealth management products.

No display, sale, or provision of any weapons or hazardous items (such as firearms, controlled weapons, knives, etc.) or instructions for their manufacture or modification.

No trafficking, recruiting, transporting, harboring, or otherwise facilitating, promoting, or profiting from human trafficking or forced labor.

Virtual Currency Rules
Diamonds must not be exchanged for cash or any form of legal tender.

Private trading, resale, or transactions of Diamonds, or assisting others in cashing out Diamonds, are strictly prohibited.

Any attempt to evade or circumvent these rules will be treated as a serious violation and may result in account suspension, wallet freezing, device bans, and reporting to regulatory authorities if necessary.

Integrity & Platform Abuse
No impersonation of BIGO LIVE staff, agents, or other users.

No infringement of intellectual property rights (such as unauthorized broadcasting of movies, music, competitions, or other works).

No spreading of false information, rumors, scam links, or malicious software.

No malicious promotion of competitor products or actions that harm the platform’s reputation.

No use of the platform to organize or facilitate serious crimes (such as human trafficking or terrorism).

If you believe your copyright or other intellectual property rights have been infringed on the platform, please submit a rights notice and supporting documents through the Appeal Channel. The platform will review valid notices and take action in accordance with applicable laws.

Community Conduct
No vulgar or overly revealing outfits, or explicit performances.

No excessive drinking, intoxicated behavior, or other inappropriate or unsafe conduct (including irresponsible displays of smoking, alcohol, or risky activities).

No collection, disclosure, or dissemination of others’ personal privacy information, including contact details, home addresses, identification documents, bank accounts, or other sensitive data.

No publishing or dissemination of any content that may harm physical or mental health, including harmful health information, unauthorized trade of prescription drugs, misleading health-related information, or content that may encourage negative self-perception or appearance-oriented values.

No excessive noise or poor environment that seriously affects the viewing experience.

No spam ads, irrelevant promotions, or disruptive comments.

No meaningless negative live streaming behaviors such as idle streaming, black screen streaming, or prerecorded content presented as live.

If the platform detects negative live streaming behavior, it will take corresponding measures, including but not limited to warnings, suspension of certain permissions, deduction, freezing, or recovery of earnings during the live session. Such behavior may affect subsequent withdrawals, revenue settlement, and the streamer’s rating.

Positive interaction, healthy content, and genuine engagement are encouraged.

Special Notes
The platform operates globally and strictly complies with the laws and regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction. It reserves the right to update this Code of Conduct at any time in accordance with legal and operational needs.

Even if certain content is not explicitly prohibited in this Code, the platform may independently determine and remove such content or impose restrictions on accounts, at its sole discretion.

We may take different enforcement actions depending on the severity of violations, and repeated offenses may result in escalated actions. Measures include, but are not limited to, limiting recommendations, removing violating content, restricting account functions, banning accounts or devices, and freezing or deducting account wallet balances.

Violations involving minors, drugs, terrorism, severe violence, or human trafficking may be reported to relevant authorities.

Users can report violations directly through the in-app Report button. If you disagree with enforcement results, you may submit an appeal via the Appeal button on the relevant interface or through the card notification in the official in-app message.
